Gemini AS Slide Stainer
AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR MULTIPLE STAINING OF HISTOLOGICAL AND CYTOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS
Characteristics
- It has the capability of continuous loading of new baskets and can process up to 15 baskets simultaneously.
- It features a 'smart' software system that manages many different protocols and many different baskets at the same time.
- It features an integrated color touch-screen display.
- It has an 'urgent start' feature, which allows the user to place 'urgent' baskets in immediate priority over those already in progress.
- In the event of a sudden power outage, the Gemini AS is equipped with a special accumulator (battery), which provides power for an additional 40 minutes.
- It has the capability to manage the vapors of the reagents either through its integrated fume extraction system with a special activated carbon filter or through connection to the laboratory's central extraction system.
Slide Basket Transfer System (SBTS)
The Slide Basket Transfer System (SBTS) automatic basket transfer station is used for the automatic transfer of slide baskets from the GEMINI AS automatic staining device to the CLEARVUE automatic covering device, creating a fully automated and integrated staining and covering system for slides.

- It has the capacity to accommodate up to five (5) baskets simultaneously with the capability for continuous loading of new baskets.
- It recognizes histological and cytological samples through the identification of the baskets.
