Trimming Tech Series (UV & HEPA)
The wall-mounted macroscopic processing stations Trimming Tech by Bio-Optica Italy, ensure safer handling of histological samples, approaching the conditions of a Biological Safety Cabinet.
For the user's safety, it features the following characteristics:
- Air extraction system with adjustable flow, directed downwards (downdraft) and towards the back (backdraft) on the work surface, which reduces the likelihood of user exposure to potentially infectious aerosols that may be generated during sample processing.
- Sterilization of the work surface and the interior of the chamber through the use of a UV lamp.
- Height-adjustable glass on the front part of the work surface for additional protection.
- HEPA filter through which the air extracted from the work surface is filtered.
Characteristics
- Wall-mounted, single-sided, enclosed type (with a cabin), constructed entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel with smooth, seamless surfaces without seams or welds, and with rounded edges.
- High stability, supported by a base that features adjustable feet.
- A back with shelves for placing various tools, consumables, and small devices used by the user.
